Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 25 October 2026

Nudish ("we", "us", "our") is a recipe discovery and meal planning service operated by RedNorth. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.

1. What we collect

  • Account data: your email address and, if you choose to provide it, a display name. Collected when you create an account.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and interaction events (e.g. recipes viewed, searches performed). Collected via Google Analytics 4, only if you agree to it — nothing is stored on your device and no analytics identifier is created until you accept. IP addresses are anonymised.
  • Payment data: if you subscribe to Nudish Pro, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID — we never see or store full card details.
  • Email: we send the sign-up confirmation and password resets through Cloudflare Email Service. We also send one reminder, seven days after sign-up, only if you confirmed your address and have not been back since. It carries an unsubscribe link, and you can turn it off in your account at any time. We send no other marketing email.
  • Pantry and journal data: ingredients you add to your pantry, meals you log, and nutrition goals you set. This data is stored in your account and used solely to deliver the service to you.

2. How we use your data

  • To create and manage your account and subscription.
  • To deliver the Nudish service — recipe suggestions, pantry tracking, meal planning.
  • To send essential transactional emails (account verification, password reset).
  • To improve the product using aggregated, anonymised usage analytics — where you have consented to it. Consent is the legal basis for this one, and it is the only thing on this list you can switch off without losing the service.
  • To process payments and manage your Pro subscription via Stripe.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not serve advertising on Nudish today. If that changes, this policy will say so before it happens, and your food, health and account information — your pantry, meal logs and nutrition goals — will not be used to target it.

3. Third-party services

  • Cloudflare — infrastructure, hosting, and CDN. Data processed on Cloudflare's edge network. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymised usage analytics. Data processed by Google. Google Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare Email Service — transactional email delivery (processed on Cloudflare's infrastructure — covered by the Cloudflare Privacy Policy above).

4. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data associated with your account is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised analytics data may be retained beyond this period.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection law, you have the following rights:

  • Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Portability: export your data in a machine-readable format via your account settings.
  • Deletion: permanently delete your account and all associated data via your account settings.
  • Correction: update your account information at any time.
  • Withdrawal of consent: where we rely on your consent — analytics cookies — you can change your answer at any time from Privacy settings in the footer of any page. Withdrawing is one click, the same as giving it, and it deletes the analytics identifiers already stored on your device.
  • Complaint: you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

To exercise any right not available through account settings, contact us at hello@nudish.app.

6. Cookies

Essential. A session cookie keeps you signed in, a second records your answer to the analytics question below so we stop asking, and a third — set only while a signed-out pantry has something in it, holding nothing but that fact, and gone when the browser closes — tells the home page to draw its pictures once it knows what you have rather than twice. The site does not work without the first, none is used for any other purpose, and none needs your consent.

Analytics. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to distinguish unique visitors and show us which parts of Nudish get used. These are set only after you accept them. Until you answer, and if you decline, Google Analytics does not load at all — and declining afterwards stops it and deletes what it had already stored.

You can change your answer at any time from Privacy settings in the footer of any page.

Advertising. Nudish sets no advertising cookies, because it serves no advertising.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the latest revision.
